Tour Overview
Golden Triangle of India
Golden Triangle of India is a six-day introduction to North India’s best-known heritage destinations. Beginning and ending in Delhi, the itinerary connects the capital’s historic landmarks with the royal atmosphere of Jaipur and the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal in Agra. It is a suitable choice for first-time visitors, families, couples, and travellers with limited time who want to experience the cultural highlights of Rajasthan and the Mughal heartland in a comfortable route.
The journey begins in Delhi, where a full-day sightseeing tour covers the city’s principal monuments, government landmarks, and historic quarters. From there, the route continues to Jaipur, the Pink City, known for its forts, palaces, and lively markets. A visit to Nahargarh Fort at sunset offers a panoramic view over the city and adds a relaxed evening to the itinerary. The final destination is Agra, where the Taj Mahal provides the most memorable moment of the tour.
This tour is designed for travellers who prefer a straightforward route with clear daily highlights and minimal backtracking. With smooth road transfers and a balanced pace, it offers a rewarding experience of North India’s most iconic destinations.
Tour Highlights
Experiences That Define Your Journey
Rickshaw Ride in Chandni Chowk Market
A cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk offers a close look at Old Delhi’s busy lanes, spice shops, street food stalls, and traditional markets. It is one of the most authentic ways to experience the city’s everyday life, heritage atmosphere, and vibrant local culture beyond the usual sightseeing spots.
Elephant Ride to Amber Fort
An elephant ride to Amber Fort adds a traditional Rajasthani touch to the Jaipur visit. The journey up the hill offers views of the fort’s grand entrance and surrounding landscape, giving travellers a memorable way to reach one of Rajasthan’s most famous heritage landmarks. Jeep rides are also available as an alternative.
Sunrise Visit to the Taj Mahal
A sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal is one of the most memorable experiences of the Golden Triangle tour. The early morning light brings out the beauty of the white marble monument, while the peaceful setting and fewer crowds allow more time to admire its architecture and gardens.

Day by Day Itinerary
Your Journey Unfolded
On arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may rest at the hotel or explore nearby surroundings at a leisurely pace. Delhi serves as the starting point for this classic North India itinerary.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. The programme typically includes landmarks from both Old and New Delhi, such as the Red Fort area, Raj Ghat, India Gate, President’s House, Parliament House, Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, and selected temples or markets according to time and interest. The day offers a useful introduction to India’s capital, its history, and its changing urban landscape. Return to the hotel in the evening.
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax before the evening programme. Later, proceed to Nahargarh Fort, one of Jaipur’s best-known viewpoints. The fort sits on the Aravalli hills and overlooks the city, making it a popular place to watch the sunset. Arriving in the late afternoon allows time to explore the ramparts and secure a good viewing spot before dusk. Return to the hotel after sunset.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. The itinerary usually includes Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and selected local markets or heritage sites depending on time and interest. Jaipur is known for its royal architecture, colourful streets, and traditional crafts, and the day provides a good overview of the city’s main attractions. Return to the hotel in the evening.
After breakfast, drive to Agra. On arrival, check in to the hotel and proceed for a visit to the Taj Mahal, subject to opening hours and security regulations. The monument is one of the most admired structures in the world and is recognised for its elegant design, symmetry, and historical significance. Depending on time, additional sights such as Agra Fort or Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb may be included. Return to the hotel in the evening.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the road journey back to Delhi. On arrival, proceed directly to the airport for your onward flight. The tour concludes with memories of Delhi’s landmarks, Jaipur’s royal heritage, and the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal.
